We are the only producer in Gloucestershire who is a member of the Traditional Farmfresh Turkey Association (TFTA), and one of only 50 in the British Isles. Membership of the TFTA requires adherence to a Quality Assurance Code with guarantees and strictly controlled, high welfare methods, and authorises us to use the name 'Totally Traditional Turkeys'.
Our production methods match our name. Our turkeys are traditional strains, reared slowly and naturally, then each is entirely dry plucked by hand before being prepared and presented to our customers in a traditional manner. There are no short cuts, no additives, and no machinery used during the process.
All our facilities are on our own farm, and our birds are reared and prepared by us. They do not leave until they are sold to you. We then sell from our own shop, where we also stock locally produced seasonal accompaniments. See our Products page for details.
We have worked hard for over 25 years to produce the finest quality turkeys and take great pride in our family business, but strive for continued improvement.
No expense is spared in the care and preparation we take with our turkeys, so we are sure they will form the centrepiece of the most important meal of the year.
Comments from some of our customers from Christmas 2010 include:
